What fabrics are used in your products?

All of our products are handcrafted with quality, safety, and durability in mind. For this reason, all of our African prints and traditional nursery print fabrics are made of 100% cotton and made to last years to come. Additionally, we use 100% cotton chenille as the back layer of our burp cloths and 100% cotton terry as the back layer for bibs and washcloths. "The Favorite" Baby and Toddler blankets feature a minky back layer.  Minky is 100% polyester and hypoallergenic. It's utlra-soft, luxurious feel makes it perfect for snuggles and blankets!

How do I care for my blanket?

Machine wash your blanket in cool water with like colors and tumble dry on low. This will help maintain the vibrancy.  Do not use fabric softeners. You may iron on low (on the cotton side) if desired, avoiding logo and care tags. 

I have small pieces that look like plastic on my blanket where it was embroidered; what is this?

It's industry standard to use a water-soluble stabilizer when stitching embroidery work on plush fabrics. I do my best to remove most of this, you may need to wash your blanket to dissolve the remaining stabilizer. Do not pick at these pieces, as you may pull a thread. Instead, rest assured that it was wash away like magic!

The name on my blanket is spelled incorrectly; can you fix this?

If I misspell a name that was correctly spelled on the order form you completed, I will be happy to replace your order! Unfortunately, embroidery work cannot be undone once it is stitched. So, if the name was misspelled on the order form, the blanket cannot be fixed and or returned for a refund.  Please triple check name spellings.  

How long will it be until I receive my item?

Due to the customizable and handcrafted nature of our products, please allow 2 weeks to process your Custom order and 2-3 business days to receive it once shipped.  If you need your item sooner, consider ordering a "Ready to Ship" item.  These are products that have been made in advance and are waiting to meet your little one in 3-5 business days. Embroidery is available on many of these items.

If you would still like a fully custom order, consider selecting Expedited shipping at checkout. This fee covers the cost to complete your order faster and expedite shipping when necessary. If for some reason, I am unable to meet your request due to order volumes, I will reach out and your Expedited shipping fee will be refunded.  

Can I change my order?

Sure.  We accept order changes within 24hrs of your placed order.  To make changes, contact sales@underwrapsbabycompany.com

What is the return policy?

Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns on custom/made-to-order products unless there was an error on our part (i.e. misspelled name; incorrect fabric used; defective product). We will reimburse the cost of shipping in these cases.  Unused Ready-to-ship items can be returned within 30 days.  Customer is responsible for shipping cost in these cases.  Refunds will be issued once the product is received.If you believe there is an error, please reach out to sales@underwrapsbabycompany.com. We are happy to help!

Why isn't Embroidery available on all "Ready to Ship" items?

Some items, like our minky blankets, require the embroidery work to be done before the blanket is constructed.  Other items, like our "Wide Receiver" blankets, can be embroidered after they are completed, so I make a small quantity of these in advance. 

How will my order be shipped?

We use the US Postal Service for all orders, unless otherwise noted. A tracking number will be sent to you via email once your order has been shipped.

Do you offer gift-wrapping?

All items are carefully packaged with a personal touch and bow, perfect to give as a gift as-is. But if you'd like to include a message or do not want prices included on the invoice, just add a note in the order form at checkout!
